Diploma procedure

Students defending their diploma theses are required to obtain credits in the USOS system for all courses specified in the study plan and to complete a clearance slip (settling accounts with the library, halls of residence and any outstanding payments) at least 7 days before the planned date of the defence.

* Please note that supervisors are obliged to submit a signed JSA anti-plagiarism report to the Dean’s Office.

A total of 21 submissions were received for the competition. Considering the exceptionally high quality of the theses recommended by the Competition Committee, 6 awards were granted:

The awards were presented on 15 December 2025 during the Young Researchers’ Gala of the Faculty of Philology.

A total of 10 papers were submitted to the competition. Taking into account the formal evaluation criteria (originality; approach to analysing the phenomena addressed in the paper; scope of the conducted research; innovativeness and independence), the Competition Committee selected 4 finalists and awarded first- and third-prize distinctions:
