Random Encounter UO

What is Random Encounter UO?

Our student research group focuses on the game development industry. It was created with students of the Game Studies program in mind, which prepares them for professional careers in this field. The main goal of our group is to help maintain close contact with all aspects of games—from game creation to playing together. This allows us to expand our knowledge in this field while combining learning with enjoyment.

What happens during meetings?

Our meetings promote a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where everyone can share their thoughts on the topic being discussed or ask questions they find difficult to answer on their own.

In addition to discussions, we also organize tournaments, group gameplay sessions, integration events, opportunities to learn about the profession, as well as meetings with people working in game development. Everything is organized in a way that even those who are not deeply familiar with the topic—but are interested in it—can still gain a lot of valuable information.

How to join the group?

In practice, all you need is a willingness to explore the world of game development and a bit of free time (mainly on weekends). Additionally, it is important to be a student of the University of Opole.

If these two requirements are met, simply contact us via:
