Our cooperation includes providing expert opinions on and co-creating study programmes, as well as organizing study visits, student internships, and traineeships. This goal is realized through the following actions: leveraging existing and establishing new contacts within the socio-economic environment; inviting external entities to contribute to the review of study programmes; increasing the participation of industry practitioners in teaching activities; inviting collaboration in organizing student internships and traineeships; and inviting cooperation within projects aimed at developing students&#8217; professional competencies.<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty of Philology works to facilitate graduates&#8217; entry into the labor market by developing students&#8217; professional competencies not only during university classes but, above all, by implementing competency development projects and traineeship programmes, monitoring labour market trends, and supervising Master&#8217;s theses that are linked to the labor market and commissioned by institutions in the university&#8217;s environment.<\/p>\n<p>Our existing collaboration includes teaching sessions conducted by experts from the university\u2019s business environment, study visits to companies, training sessions for students, internships, and traineeships. We invite companies from Opole, the Opole region, and beyond to collaborate with the Faculty. Students undertake semester-long and continuous teaching practice in cooperation with schools in Opole; they also have the opportunity to collaborate with schools in their place of residence, which enables them to find employment directly after graduation. Our existing collaboration with schools includes:<\/p>\n<p>FOR STUDENTS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internships and traineeships<\/li><\/ul><br><ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>FOR PUPILS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thematic workshops (cultural, literary, linguistic) dedicated to specific groups of secondary school pupils (held at the Collegium Maius building)<\/li>\n<li>Individual attendance for pupils in selected classes (as auditors)<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;Invite a Lecturer&#8221; Our partners include associations, unions, foundations, and societies operating in the fields of culture, art, and education. Our strategic partners are part of the FORTHEM Alliance of European Universities, of which the University of Opole is a member. Particular emphasis should be placed on the involvement of the Faculty&#8217;s students and staff in the European Campus and Skills &amp; Competences Missions, as well as in the Migration and Diversity and Multilingualism Labs. Within the framework of NAWA and Erasmus+ projects, and in cooperation with international partners, our academic staff develop teaching materials, and students acquire\u00a0key competencies for the labor market.
