Student research groups – good to know

• It is easier to establish contact and cooperation with other student research groups this way.
• We can receive funding for various types of initiatives.
• We can win financial awards for the best student research groups at the University of Opole.
• Every year we meet at the UO “Scientific Early Spring” – a gathering of all research groups, during which we share our achievements and organize workshops for students from the entire university.
• Don’t have a place to hold a meeting? The Forum of Research Groups provides access to the “Mieszko” room (Dormitory Spójnik, room 69a). To reserve it, simply contact the Forum.

You need to gather at least 5 people willing to work in the group, choose a board and a academic supervisor (this can be any academic staff member). You also need to prepare the group’s statutes and a letter to the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, justifying the establishment of the group and outlining its planned activities and goals.
